Copyright and take-down

Last updated 18 October 2026

Dellro hosts films and photographs that wedding studios upload to deliver to their clients. We do not choose or review that content. Studios keep the rights to their work and promise us that they hold the rights and consents for what they upload. If you believe something on Dellro infringes your copyright or another right, this page explains how to tell us.

1. Sending a take-down notice

Bloomworks follows the take-down procedure in section 77 of the Electronic Communications and Transactions Act, 2002 (ECTA). Your notice must be in writing and include:

  • your full name and address;
  • your written or electronic signature;
  • the right you say has been infringed, for example copyright in a song, film or photograph;
  • the material or activity you say is infringing, and where it is, including the gallery link (URL);
  • the remedial action you want us to take, such as removing a file or disabling access to a gallery;
  • your telephone number and email address;
  • a statement that you are acting in good faith; and
  • a statement that the information in the notice is, to your knowledge, true and correct.

If you are acting for the rights holder, say so and explain your authority. Rights holders outside South Africa are welcome to use this procedure too. A notice in the style of the US Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA) is fine, as long as it contains the details above.

2. Where to send it

Email your notice to hello@bloomworks.tech with “Take-down notice” in the subject line. Gallery links are private, so please include the full link you were given; without it we may not be able to find the material.

3. What we do

  • We act expeditiously once we receive a complete notice.
  • We may remove the material or disable access to it, or to the gallery, while we review the notice.
  • We tell the studio that uploaded the material and give it a copy of the notice, including your contact details, so it can respond.
  • If a notice is incomplete, we will ask you for the missing details.

4. Counter-notice for studios

If your content was removed and you believe that was a mistake, for example because you hold a licence for the music or the notice names the wrong work, email hello@bloomworks.tech with your name and studio, the gallery and files affected, why you believe you have the right to use the material, any supporting evidence such as a licence, and a statement that the information is true and correct. We will share your response with the person who sent the notice. We may restore the material if the notice appears unfounded, unless they show that they have started legal proceedings. We do not decide legal disputes between studios and rights holders.

5. Repeat infringers

Uploading content without the rights to it breaks our terms of service. Where a studio repeatedly uploads infringing material, we may suspend or close its account.

6. False notices

Please only send a notice if you are confident it is correct. Under section 77(2) of ECTA, a person who submits a take-down notice and materially misrepresents the facts is liable for damages caused by the wrongful take-down. A wrongful notice can also take a couple’s wedding film offline on a day that matters to them.

7. Other concerns

If you appear in a gallery and have a privacy concern rather than a rights claim, please contact the studio that shared it first. You can also read our privacy policy or write to hello@bloomworks.tech.
