Questions
- How do I calculate the file size of a video?
- Multiply the bitrate in megabits per second by the length in seconds, then divide by 8 for megabytes. A 30-minute film at 50 Mbps is 50 x 1,800 / 8 = 11,250 MB, about 11 GB.
- What bitrate should I export a wedding film at?
- It depends on resolution and codec. Higher bitrates keep more detail but make bigger files. Use the bitrate from your own export preset; Dellro then makes streaming versions up to 4K for viewing and keeps your original for downloads.
- Does Dellro charge for storage?
- No. Plans count what you upload in a year, not what is stored, so weddings you have already delivered never use up next year's allowance. See pricing.
